Frequently Asked Questions
How long does it take for hair to start growing?
With a transplantation of viable follicles, your hair grows every month after the procedure. The actual duration of hair growth lasts from the 6th to the 12th month.
What length should your hair be?
Your hair is shaved to a grade-one haircut prior to hair transplantation.
Is the grade-one haircut necessary?
Because the tissues taken from the nape area are between 0.6 mm and 0.7 mm in thickness, the hair should be cut to a grade one.
Where do you perform the operation?
Our surgical operations are carried out in sterile hospital environments that are suitable for hair transplantation.
Can my hair grow/ Can I grow out my hair?
Transplanted hair grows in the same way that natural hair does. You get your growing hair colored. It does not require any special care and can be washed with any shampoo.
How long does the operation take?
Hair transplantation takes 6 to 8 hours, depending on the number of grafts transplanted.
What are the impediments to hair transplantation?
Hair transplantation cannot be performed if the nape hair used for transplantation is not healthy and sufficient. Patients who have chronic diseases (heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, etc.) or allergies should also state that they have these conditions. The details are discussed and a decision about the transplantation is made during the preliminary examination.
Does the transplanted hair to turn grey?
Transplanted hair turns grey in the same way that natural hair does.
Will my face swell as a result of the procedure?
Liquid is injected under the skin during hair transplantation and grafting to control bleeding and improve visibility of the follicles. However, if the instructions are followed, there will be no swelling that will cause discomfort to the patient. If you perform activities that require you to bend your head forward for extended periods of time, such as reading a book or working at a computer, you will experience some face swelling in the days following the transplant. However, if the instructions are followed, there will be no swelling that will cause discomfort to the patient.
What is the efficacy of local anesthesia?
Local anesthetics injected under the skin have an average efficacy of 8 hours. For a few days after the FUE procedure, there may be numbness in the transplant and grafting area. However, this is only a temporary situation.
Does the transplanted hair fall out over time?
Hair follicles grafted from the nape of the neck do not fall out. The genetic structure and biology of the follicles in that area perform the cell work that enables them to remain viable and never fall out. They preserve the same cell structure in the area where they are transplanted, and the transplanted hair does not fall out.
Do I need to take medication after the operation?
Inter Clinic will provide you with the first medicine, shampoo, and lotion to be used following hair transplantation at no cost.
Do you provide a warranty on transplanted hair?
We provide a warranty on transplanted hair. After the transplant, you will be given a Warranty Certificate indicating the number of grafts and that the transplantation procedure is guaranteed.
Where can the transplanted hair follicles be grafted on the body?
Grafts from the shoulder and chest areas can also be extracted for hair transplantation. The important thing in hair transplantation, however, is to graft hair follicles from the nape, which will give a dense, healthy, and aesthetic appearance, and transplant them into bald areas.
Do hair follicles grafted from different areas of the body appear natural as well?
Follicles grafted from different areas of the body are not preferred for transplantation of bald spots. If the nape area is not suitable for hair grafting in the treatment of baldness, body hair can be preferred for people who desire to have denser hair. Although body hair grows longer on the scalp than on the body and is not always the preferred method, it can be used as an alternative (densification).
Can hair transplantation be performed on areas with burns and scars?
Hair transplantation is performed on people who have burns and surgical scars on hairy skin, as well as those who are inherently bald and extremely successful results can be achieved.
